QUESTION 4: Can someone else homeschool my child?
This answer may vary from state to state. However, according to the laws in Florida, parents or legal guardians are the only people who are allowed to homeschool their children. The law defines homeschooling as “sequentially progressive instruction of a student directed by his or her parent or guardian in order to satisfy the requirements mandated by Florida. The term “directed” (it does not say taught) is the operative word which gives you latitude, flexibility, and creativity in constructing a suitable, unique, and personal homeschooling program for your child(ren).
