QUESTION 10: How do I prepare my child to graduate from high school early?

First, set your goal to achieve early graduation.  Then, begin planting fruitful seeds in the child’s education.  What that entails or involves is letting the child know throughout their education what they will be looking forward to when they reach the age you designate for them to start college or dual enrollment.  Be proactive by nurturing your educational goal because there will be naysayers along the journey planting seeds contrary to your own.  At no time should you entertain or present to your child any conversation that does not conform to your end goal. Such rhetoric like, “Do you want to attend college early or participate in dual enrollment?” and   “I know college is not for everyone.”  should be off limit since it will only serve to hamper or interfere with your established graduation goal.  Second, preset your child’s yearly school schedule to correspond to the years you have remaining until your child starts college. For example, if your child is at a 6 grade level when you start homeschooling and your desire is for them to be ready for college or dual enrollment at the age of 15, you would have approximately 4 years to get them prepared to begin college courses.
